The Festivities in Honor of the Lord Jesus of the Aflitos in Borba are back in the month of August, from the 12th to the 19th. These are the biggest festivals in the municipality, with a very strong religious aspect, days in which the people of Borba and all visitors express his devotion and faith in the Lord Jesus of the Afflicted.

Musical shows and concerts attract thousands of people to the city every year. This year’s festivities, in terms of shows, begin on August 14th with a show by fado singer Mariza, to mark the 500th anniversary of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Borba.

On August 15th, ROMANA takes the stage and promises a lot of entertainment. The popular singer became known to the general public with songs such as “Já Não Sou Bebê”, “Não És Homem P’ra Mim”, “Abre-se uma Janela” and “Canção Para Uma Mulher”.
