The 7th edition of the Portugal Air Summit will take place at the Ponte de Sor Municipal Aerodrome on the 10th, 11th and 12th of October 2024, under the theme “Flying 4 Change”, with the aim of addressing central issues in the transformation of the aeronautical sector in Portugal and in the world.

The Portugal Air Summit is already a very significant event in the European aeronautics and space industry, bringing together leaders and experts to discuss recent trends and innovations. Key topics for the 2024 edition include knowledge and opportunities, sustainability, digital transformation, strategic vision and investments, regulation and leadership.

The summit offers networking opportunities, updates on the latest projects and technological and operational innovations, and emphasizes the importance of sustainability, promoting environmentally friendly practices and long-term competitiveness, providing a vital forum for strategic development and sustainable development of the aeronautical and aerospace industry.

Under the motto “Flying 4 Change”, this edition will include a cycle of conferences, exhibition areas, air shows and various recreational activities, designed for all audiences who decide to visit the event during the three days.

The Portugal Air Summit, held since 2018 in a partnership between Ponte de Sor City Hall and the entity promoting the event ACIPS – Commercial and Industrial Association of Ponte de Sor, is part of a strategy to position, promote and develop the sector in the region and in the country, having already contributed directly to attracting investments that generate jobs and economic dynamics, helping to encourage family settlement, reversing the cycle of desertification in the Alentejo region.
