Between 24th and 26th January 2025, Vila Viçosa will host the 2nd Conventual Sweets Fair.

The event aims to celebrate the region’s sweet tradition and culinary heritage, providing a unique experience for visitors.

Over the course of three days, participants will have the opportunity to taste a selection of convent sweets prepared by local masters, highlighting the authentic flavors and ancestral techniques associated with traditional confectionery.

The Cloister of the Convent of Agostinhos, next to the Palace of Vila Viçosa, continues to be the chosen location to host this event full of activities, which aims to help promote and preserve this important and rich Calipolense heritage.
