CARMIM, the Reguengos de Monsaraz Agricultural Cooperative, is a company with a long and rich history in the Alentejo region. Founded in 1971 by a group of 60 winegrowers, the cooperative has grown significantly over the years and today has around 900 members and produces 24 references of wine.
CARMIM therefore bases its production on tradition and respect for the legacy of its ancestors. The Cooperative’s wines are produced with high quality grapes from its own vineyards, located on unique plots of land in the Alentejo.
After all, the Cooperative uses modern and innovative production techniques, combined with the knowledge and experience of its winemakers, to guarantee the quality and excellence of the wines they produce. With a wide range of wines, from whites and reds to rosés, sparkling wines and liqueurs. Appreciated in Portugal and abroad, the wines have been awarded several prizes and distinctions in national and international competitions.
The Cooperative offers visitors the chance to get to know the facilities and their wines through wine tourism experiences. With guided tours of the facilities, wine tastings and other activities related to the world of wine.
