The “Provando o Tareco” event is back in Vila Alva, in the municipality of Cuba, and takes place in November 2024. This celebration is dedicated to wine and the region’s winemaking traditions, particularly “tareco”, which is an artisanal wine locally produced. During the event, there will be a tour through the wineries, with carved wine tastings, snacks, traditional music shows, including Alentejo singing, and other activities such as walks and dances.

“Provando o Tareco” is organized by the Parish of Vila Alva in partnership with the City of Cuba and usually has free entry. In addition to wine traditions, the event also offers various entertainment, such as DJ performances and live music.
