The Fluviário de Mora is a public aquarium located in the small Alentejo town of Mora, in the district of Évora. Inaugurated in 2007, it is a space dedicated to preserving and publicizing the fauna and flora of Portugal’s freshwater ecosystems. In particular, the Tagus and Guadiana river regions.
One of the main objectives for the creation of the Fluviário de Mora is to educate its visitors about the importance of conserving freshwater habitats and the organisms that live in them.
