Stuffed Alentejo Bread

Today we’re sharing the recipe for a snack for the next few days: Stuffed Alentejo Bread.

𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦:

  • Alentejo bread
  • 200ml milk
  • 100ml cream
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 50gr chopped onion
  • 100gr Mascarpone cheese
  • 100gr Breadcrumbs
  • 150gr chopped Peppperoni
  • Chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste

PREPARATION:

Start by slicing the bread into a circle at the top. Remove the miole and grind into crumbs. Book

Put the milk, cream, chopped garlic cloves and chopped onion in a saucepan and bring to the boil, mixing all the ingredients well.

Add the crumbs and dissolve well to form a cream. Season with salt.

At the end, add the pepperoni and coriander. Fill the bread with the mixture and bake in the oven to toast. Serve hot.
